Tucker White (Sterling, Okla.) against the Pirates' Chris Holba. First pitch on Tuesday is slated for 5:00 pm; Wednesday's tilt is expected to begin at 2:30 pm.

The Match-Up
The College and East Carolina meet for the 12th time on the diamond on Tuesday evening, with ECU holding a 7-4 edge in the all-time series. The Cougars and Pirates last met in February of 2006 in a three-game set, won by ECU 2-1.
Last Time Out
The Cougars swept the weekend series with The Citadel, outscoring the Bulldogs by a combined 16-4 to extend their winning streak against their crosstown rivals to 11 games.
Logan McRae mashed two home runs, while

CofC's offense has churned out 6.82 runs and 10.6 hits per game thus far, while batting .300 and getting on the pond at a .404 clip. The Cougars entered the week ranked 46th in the nation in hits (117) and 64th in runs scored (75).
McRae Comes in a Cut Above
Redshirt sophomore
Logan McRae has enjoyed a strong start to the 2017 season, entering the week ranked amongst the top 20 in the nation in home runs, RBIs, RBIs per game, and slugging percentage. The redshirt sophomore is batting .425 with 13 runs scored, five home runs, and 20 RBIs thus far.
On Base Maestros
A trio of Cougars have been models of consistency when it comes to getting on base this season, as
Logan McRae and
Luke Manzo each carry an eight-game reached base streak into this weekend. Manzo himself has recorded at least one hit in each of the Cougars' first 11 games - including six multi-hit games - and currently owns a 12-game hitting streak dating back to last season.
Scouting ECU
East Carolina enters the fourth week of the season with an 8-3 overall record, including a perfect 7-0 mark on its home diamond. The Pirates come into Tuesday's series opener riding an eight-game winning streak after being swept by No. 8 Ole Miss to open the season.
Travis Watkins leads the Pirate offense with a .381 batting average to go along with one home run and six RBIs, while Luke Bolka and T.J. Riles have each driven a team-high 12 runs. The Pirate pitching staff is surrendering less than three earned runs per game. Tuesday's starter, Chris Holba, enters the week with a 2-0 record and a 1.88 ERA in 14 and one-third innings of work.
