CHARLESTON, S.C. - College of Charleston men's basketball senior forward Jeremy Simmons (Lithonia, Ga.) made ESPN SportCenter's Top 10 Plays of the Day on Nov. 10.

The school's all-time leader in career dunks (93), Simmons converted the sweet alley-oop dunk pass from freshman Trent Wiedeman (Suwanee, Ga.) in the first half of play against Maryland in the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer on Wednesday night at the Comcast Center in College Park, Md.

Additionally, the 6-foot-8 big man was the only player from the Southern Conference to receive mention in a recent college basketball blog written by analyst Jay Bilas on ESPN.com. Simmons was listed as one of the nation's top defenders along with Florida State's Chris Singleton, BYU's Jackson Emery, Duquesne's Damian Saunders, Kansas State's Jacob Pullen, Utah's David Foster, Ohio State's David Lighty and Butler's Shelvin Mack.
