The Ballpark at Patriots Point is the home of Cougar Baseball. The facility opened in the spring of 2001 on the banks of the Cooper River, and was part of a $3 million renovation completed in the summer of 2007. The newly renovated facility features covered seating, an expanded press box with 2 radio booths, a hospitality deck and expanded seating to 2,000. Also on site are locker rooms, an athletic training facility, practice field and a 4,200 square foot indoor practice facility.
The park features field dimensions of (L-R): 300, 375, 400, 375, 330 feet.
A brand-new sound system has been installed, enhancing the game day experience for both fans and student-athletes. In addition, new turf has been laid on the field, offering a durable, all-weather playing surface.
In 2025, Charleston athletics introduced the third base container suite which offers a premium viewing option, featuring an elevated seating area along with convenient access to snacks and drinks.
Located in the shadow of the picturesque Ravenel Bridge and across from the U.S.S. Yorktown, the Ballpark at Patriots Point provides one of the most picturesque backdrops for college baseball in the country.
