CofC Sailing team 10th at Coed Atlantic Coast Championship

The College of Charleston sailing team placed eighth in the A-Division and 10th in the B-Division to finish 10th at the Coed Atlantic Coast Championship held Nov. 10-11 in St. Petersburg, Fla. Boston College won the event with 180 points, while Charleston totaled a 234 for its 10th.
With Chris Lash skippering and Katie Weaver crewing in the A-Division, the Cougars finished in the top 10 in 10 races, including a win the seventh race, to total 114 points for eighth.
Nick Martin skippered in the B-Division races, while Megan Riddle served as crew for Charleston. The duo placed in the top 10 in seven races and took home a win in the sixth to total 120 points and 10th place.
Charleston next competes Nov. 17-18, as it hosts the SAISA/MAISA Regatta at the J. Stewart Walker Sailing Center at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
