
Cougars Travel to Davidson

The College of Charleston men's basketball team looks to rebound from its first Southern Conference loss of the season when the Cougars travel to Davidson Thursday, Jan. 28 to take on the Wildcats at 7 p.m. at Belk Arena.
The Cougars' (13-7, 8-1) seven game winning streak was snapped this past Monday with a 100-90 loss at Western Carolina. Andrew Goudelock and Tony White, Jr., both scored over 20 points each in the loss, with Goudelock at 24 and White, Jr. at 23. Goudelock tied his career-high with six three pointers and his 11 assists led the team and was a career-best. The 19 total three-pointers was a school record.
CofC is led this season by Goudelock with 19.3 points per game. Donavan Monore follows with 12.9.
Charleston is looking for the season sweep over the Wildcats after earning the 67-55 win earlier this year. The Cougars are 8-2 in their last 10 games and have outscored their opponents 78.6 - 72.5. The Cougars are shooting 48.6 percent, compared to 42.1 for the opposition
Davidson (9-11, 4-4) is coming off a 91-87 win at Georgia Southern Saturday. The Wildcats are led by JP Kuhlman with 12.3 points per game and Jake Cohen with 12.
