Quotes: College of Charleston 86, Chattanooga 74

Head Coach Bobby Cremins
Speaking about Chattanooga's resilience
“Chattanooga was down and out and I thought we were going to give them the knockout punch but they made a great comeback. They had a chance as they got right back in the game. They cut it to ten points and we were up 29. We were playing some great basketball and I have to look to see what happened. I give Chattanooga a lot of credit for that comeback.”
On how Chattanooga got back in the game
“We stopped defending and we gave up threes in transition. We know they're a great transition team and we worked all week on that. We worked hard on all that stuff this week and we did a great job for about 20-30 minutes and then it seemed to collapse”.
About the play of Matt Sundberg
“When Simmons was out, you learn about other players. Matt Sundberg is our most experienced sub but one thing we learned about Matt is he helped us last year and he can shoot. With Simmons out, we've found something and that Sundberg has a weapon. Now, we just have to figure out how to utilize that to our advantage. We have to find a way to get him into the mix because he can shoot.”
Speaking on the importance of the win
“They're all important. Last year when Elon came in here, we couldn't score a bucket. I was about ready to go play. I was really proud of our guys tonight. Chattanooga came in ready to play tonight and we responded.”
Andrew Goudelock
On the unselfishness of his teammates
“It's fun whenever your on a team where all your teammates are a joy to be around. It's kind of like an all-star team. Everybody's not worried about scoring a bunch of points and its all about winning. Whoever gets it, gets it. Tonight it was Matt [Sundberg] and I was glad to see him do well and see Jeremy get back on the floor. It's a joy for everybody to see other people doing well and it shows were not a selfish team at all.
Matt Sundberg
On his teammates
“It was really fun out there tonight. I love my teammates. They're the best to play with they're always having fun out there.
