The College of Charleston, along with 17 other sailing teams, competed in a total of 19 races, coming away with a ninth-place finish at the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA)/Gill Coed Dinghy National Championship held June 1-3, 2010 on Lake Mendota in Madison, Wisc. No races were sailed in the third and final day of competition due to lack of wind so Boston College, which led Harvard by five points after the second day, won the national title. The Eagles finished in the top five in eight races, including three wins, to finish with 127 points. The Cougars, finished with 175 points, just four shy from eighth-place Vermont.

Katie Weaver (Davidsonville, Md.) sailed with Maegli, with Corinna DeCollibus (Duxbury, Mass.) jumping in with Horowitz. In 10 races Charleston posted results of 14-14-11-5-2-13-16-15-7-15 to total a 112 and 13th place.
The Cougars placed fourth in the B-Division with a score of 63 after turning in results of 9-9-7-13-5-6-4-6-4 in nine races. Allison Blecher (Fullerton, Calif.) skippered in the first, second and seventh races, while Jackson Benvenutti (Bay St. Lousi, Miss.) filled in for the third race through sixth race and the eight and ninth as well.
