Blecher Featured in Sports Illustrated

College of Charleston sailor Allison Blecher (Fullerton, Calif.) was featured in the July 5th issue of Sports Illustrated in the "Faces in the Crowd" section.
Blecher was named Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Quantum Women's Sailor of the Year after leading the College of Charleston sailing team to the Women's National Championship title for the second time in five years. Blecher and teammate Alyssa Aitken won four races and placed second in four others to earn the win by a 25-point margin over second-place Boston College.
Blecher capped a successful senior year with the championship after leading the Cougar women's team to top five finishes in all but one regatta. It included three wins and four second-place finishes in 11 events.
