
Bailey, McMahon Lead Cougars at Regionals

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The College of Charleston men's and women's cross country teams competed today in Charlotte and placed 32nd and 34rd respectfully in the 2012 NCAA Southeast Regional Championships.
Senior Christian Bailey led the men's team in the 10K, finishing 166th in 33:47.15. Fellow senior Manning Miller was right behind Bailey as he finished in 171st place with a time of 33:52.10.
The women were paced by sophomore Hayley McMahon who finished in 120th place in the 6K with a time of 22:39.08. Fellow sophomore Danielle Sams was the second Cougar to finish. Sams crossed the line in 162nd place with a time of 23:17.61.
This concludes the cross country season for both the women and the men, indoor track will begin in January 2013.
