Runner-Up Finish For Cougars at Szambecki Team Race

NORFOLK, Va. – The College of Charleston sailing team finished runner-up at the 2016 Aaron Szambecki Team Race regatta hosted by Old Dominion over the Easter Weekend.
Jake Reynolds, Ryan Davidson, Emmy Stuart, Dodge Rees, Reed Baldridge, Beka Schiff, Grace McCarthy and Chloe Dapp compiled an 18-3 record as the Cougars tied for first with Georgetown. The Hoyas would win the race by virtue of their head-to-head record with CofC in the tiebreaker. It marked the Cougars' fifth Top-3 finish or better at each of college sailing's team-racing events this spring.
CofC will take the week off from competition, before traveling to the SAISA Team Race and SAISA Coed events hosted by Jacksonville on April 9-10 in Jacksonville, Fla.
