Third Top 20 Finish For Sowell at The Schenkel Invitational

STATESBORO, Ga. – College of Charleston graduate senior Logan Sowell (Kershaw, S.C.) turned in his third Top 20 finish of the season on Sunday at The Schenkel Invitational held at Forest Heights Country Club.
Sowell tied No. 74-ranked Easton Paxton of NC State and Archie Davies of ETSU for 18th in the 80-player field comprised of seven Top 80-ranked golfers. He shot 3-over par for the tournament with rounds of 69, 74 and 76.
No. 21-ranked NC State won the team tournament title, while No. 40 and host Georgia Southern was runner-up. The Cougars placed ninth on the final team leaderboard with a three-round score of 888 just four shots back of No. 38 Kentucky, which finished sixth.
CofC continues play right in its own backyard this coming weekend at The Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate on March 28-30 at Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, S.C.
