
Balanced Effort Leads Cougars to Dominating Win Over Camels

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Five Cougars scored in double-figures as the College of Charleston men's basketball team defeated Campbell 90-67 on Saturday for their second straight CAA win by 20+ points.
Charleston jumped out to a 10-2 lead behind buckets from CJ Fulton, Frankie Policelli and Ante Brzovic before Campbell went on a 11-4 run of their own to come within one at 14-13.
The Camels committed six turnovers in a six-minute span that led to a 9-0 Charleston run with four minutes to play in the first half for their largest lead of the game at 34-23.
Ben Burnham helped send Charleston to the locker room up 43-29 after his second three of the day and an old fashioned three-point play. The Cougars forced 11 Camel turnovers in the half while eight different players found the scoring column.
Charleston opened the second half going 3-for-3 from the field to lead a 54.5% shooting percentage in the second half to cruise to a complete team victory.

- Charleston, now 15-6 and 6-2 in CAA play, returns to TD Arena to face UNCW on February 1. It will be the second time in 13 days the teams will face each other. Action is set for 7:00 p.m. in Charleston.
