Cougars Conclude Season at NCAA Regionals

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The College of Charleston men's golf team concluded the 2023-24 campaign with a 12th place finish at the NCAA West Lafayette Regional.

The Cougars won their seventh CAA title in a record breaking fashion that saw Kieron van Wyk and Zach Reuland earn co-champion honors in the individual standings. Head coach Mitch Krywulycz was also named the CAA Coach of the Year.

Loran Appel led the Cougars at T23 (+1) in his first postseason appearance. The rookie rose five places during the final round, sinking one birdie and an eagle.

Reuland followed Appel at T41 (+4) with three birdies. Kieron van Wyk finished at T50 (+8) with Max Dupree at T54 (+9) and Nevill Ruiter in 72nd (+30).
