
Offshore Team Wins IOR

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston offshore sailing won the 2025 Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta in the J105. The dinghy squad also placed 12th at the Women's Atlantic Coast Championship Finals.
The Cougars brought home the Hoffmann Trophy as overall winner and inaugural Callisto Cup as the winners of all IORs. CofC placed first out of 49 different teams.
At the Women's ACC Finals, Charleston finished 12th out of 18 teams with 294 total points. Stanford won the race with 136 points, followed by Harvard (152) and Dartmouth (164).
The College is set to take part in four regattas Oct. 18-19, racing in the McMillan Cup and Open ACC Finals in Annapolis, Md., the Seahawk Showdown in Wilmington, N.C. and the Yale Women's Regatta in New Haven, Conn.
