CHESTERTOWN, Md. – College of Charleston sailing head coach Conner Blouin will be inducted into the Washington College Athletics Hall of Fame.

A 2010 graduate of the college, Blouin left his mark on the Washington College Sailing program. A two-time All-American Honorable Mention and three-time team most valuable sailor, Blouin will be the second sailor to be inducted into the Washington College Athletics Hall of Fame.

Blouin started his career at the Riley Cup in 2006, where he won his first regatta sailing to represent Washington College. In the 2008-09 season, he was named an All-MAISA Skipper and helped lead Washington College to the ICSA Co-Ed Dinghy National Semifinal. In his senior year, 2010, he earned the Senior Male Athletic Departmental Award, the only sailor to earn this award, and the Alfred Reddish Departmental Award.

Three years after graduation, Blouin returned to Washington College as Head Sailing Coach and held the title for two years. He has represented USA Sailing in the 2023 Pan American Games and was a 2024 Sunfish Sailing World Champion.

Blouin joined the College of Charleston coaching staff in 2018 before being elevated to head coach in 2023. While as an assistant, Blouin helped lead Charleston to the 2019 Coed Dinghy National Championship and 2021 Women's Dinghy National Championship.
