
CofC Wins SAISA Fall Women’s and Open Championships

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – College of Charleston sailing won the 2025 SAISA Fall Women's and Open Championships this weekend, earning the conference championship.
The women's boats finished first out of eight schools for a total of 63 points. Charleston's A boat earned 38 points while its B boat had 25. South Florida (71) and Rollins (99) rounded out the top three.
The Cougars completed the weekend sweep with its second top finish in the Open Conference Championship. CofC's A boat obliterated the competition, posting a miniscule 16 points while the B boat had 60 for 76 total points. Eckerd (96) and Miami (104) finished second and third, respectively.
Charleston begins its final month of fall racing with the Kennedy Cup Nov. 1-2 in Annapolis, Md.
