
Charleston Wins USF Women’s Team Race

TAMPA, Fla. – College of Charleston sailing led wire-to-wire, going a perfect 12-0 to capture the USF Women's Team Race in Tampa, Fla.
The Cougars were represented by Emily Alfortish, Fredrikke Foss, Isabella Shakespeare, Emma Tallman, Marina Dryer, Paige Lubrano, Andrea Melnik and Clara Murphy.
Charleston also placed third and sixth at the SAISA Top 18 Invite in Jacksonville, Fla. CofC earned 88 points and 97 points, respectively. Host Jacksonville won the regatta, posting 55 points.
The College opens the month of March with three regattas, including its first home race of the spring; the Phebe Women's Team Race, the Mendelblatt Team Race in St. Petersburg, Fla. and the ODU Spring Women's Team Race in Norfolk, Va.
