
Cougars Compete in Three Team Races

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston sailing competed in three races this weekend, earning fourth place at the Duplin Women's Team Race, fifth place at the Kings Point Open Team Race and ninth at the Friis Open Team Race.
 
In Cambridge, Mass., the Cougars posted an 8-8 record for the fourth-place finish. Yale won the regatta with a 15-1 record.
 
CofC went 7-7 at Kings Point for fifth place and had a 3-9 record against opponents in the Friis Open Team Race in New London, Conn.
 
The Cougars are back in the New England region with a pair of team races March 29 and 30. CofC is set to compete in the Marchiando Open Team Race in Cambridge, Mass. and the Dellenbaugh Women's Team Race in Providence, R.I. The women's offshort team will also race in the USCG J70 Invitational in New London, Conn., March 28-30.
