Three Riders Qualify for IHSA Zone Championships

LANDER, S.C. – Three members of the College of Charleston IHSA equestrian team qualified for the 2025 IHSA Zone Championships, which will take place on April 5.
Junior Olivia Welsh was the IHSA Regional Champion in Open Fences and reserve champion in Open Flat. Freshman Kenda Murray was the Regional Champion in Open Flat while sophomore Ella Muschlitz was the regional reserve champion in Novice Flat. Senior Isabella Padula finished fourth in the Limited Flat.
"We had a beautiful day at IHSA regionals," said head coach Natasha Vitkovic. "All of our riders and horses performed beautifully. All of us are extremely excited to head to zones now with three riders to compete in five events!"
