
Cougars Advance to Open Fleet Race Nationals

ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – College of Charleston sailing advanced to the 2025 ICSA Open Fleet Race Finals Wednesday.
The Cougars earned a seventh-place finish amongst 18 teams with a total of 168 points. Charleston's A boat of Noah Zittrer, Clara Murphy and Aidan Iaconis claimed 95 points while Benjamin Dufour, Andrea Melnik and Garrett Grenauer claimed 73 points in the B boat.
CofC has appeared in all four national regattas in 2024-25, having appeared in both Team Race Nationals in April and the Women's Fleet Race finals last week in St. Mary's City.
