CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston equestrian head coach
Natasha Vitkovic announced the 2025-26 NCEA and IHSA schedules Thursday.
Â
"We are excited to announce the 2025-26 competition season after an exciting first year competitively riding the NCEA format," said Vitkovic. "We are currently ranked second in the Single Discipline format after our history making appearance and Runner Up finish at 2025 NCEA Championships."
Â
All-American
Camilla Murray and the NCEA squad open the campaign Sept. 27 at Lynchburg before a pair of home meets at White Horses, LLC Oct. 17 against Sweet Briar and Oct. 18 versus Berry. The 2024-25 ECAC Champions will continue its season in the spring with three home meets, including a rematch of the 2024-25 NCEA Single Discipline Championship versus Dartmouth Feb. 15.
Â
The IHSA team kicks off its fall slate Oct. 4-5 at F.E.N.C.E. in Tryon, N.C.
Â
"Our IHSA roster is looking extremely eager after a strong (but short) 2024-2025 season," said Vitkovic. "We had a very strong placing at IHSA Nationals taking home a National Reserve Championship title in the Novice Flat. Our entire team is committed to being focused and working harder than ever this year, all in efforts to simply, 'be better.'"
Â
Ella Muschlitz represented The College at IHSA Nationals, taking home National Reserve Champion in the Novice Flat. Muschlitz and the Cougars resume competition Feb. 7-8 at Georgia Southern before a road trip to Lander Feb. 21-22 in preparation for Regionals (March 7) and IHSA Zones (March 28).
