Four Sailors Named to ICSA All-Academic Sailing Team

RESCUE, Va. – Four members of the College of Charleston sailing team have been named to the 2024-25 Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) All-Academic Sailing Team.
Seniors Emily Alfortish, Grace Beard and Sophia Browne along with graduate student Axel Stordahl were recognized. Stordahl earned the honor for the second consecutive year.
A total of 261 student-athletes were named to the academic team.
The ICSA All-Academic Sailing Team recognizes junior and senior student-athletes who have participated as a competitor or alternate in seven regattas during the 2024-25 season and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
