
Equestrian Ranked #1 in NCEA Single Discipline

WACO, Texas. – For the first time in program history, College of Charleston equestrian is ranked No. 1 in the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) Single Discipline poll, the league announced Tuesday.
The Cougars enter the final weekend of the regular season with a 6-3 record and beat a pair of previously ranked No. 1 programs in the month of Feb. Charleston defeated Dartmouth Feb. 13 by a score of 6-4 and later handed Lynchburg a 7-3 loss Feb. 27.
CofC has beaten three top-ranked squads in its two seasons competing in NCEA. In their inaugural meet, the Cougars beat Lynchburg, 6-4, on Sept. 28, 2024.
Charleston wraps up the 2025-26 regular season March 7 at Centenary for a 10 a.m. meet before hosting the ECACs March 19-21 at White Horses.
