Five Cougars Advance to IHSA Zones

GREENWOOD, S.C. – College of Charleston equestrian had five student-athletes advance to IHSA Zones following IHSA Regionals Saturday morning.
"We are very proud of our individual riders who really showed up today at Regionals," said head coach Natasha Vitkovic. "We are looking forward to competing at Zones as a team and with these individuals in a few weeks at SCAD."
To advance to IHSA Zones, riders must finish first or second.
Senior Maggie Armes placed second in the limit flat and sophomore Emma Heatherton placed second in limit fences. Freshman Lily Wilson took second in the open flat, while sophomores Meredith Miramonti and Clara Bowman grabbed second in limit flat and intermediate flat, respectively.

NCEA concludes the regular season March 7 at Centenary while IHSA competes in Zones March 28.
