
Offshore Wins LA Harbor Cup

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston offshore sailing won the LA Harbor Cup while dinghy team captured three top five finishes over the weekend.
Out west, the Cougars finished first out of ten teams to claim the LA Harbor Cup. CofC finished third last year in the regatta.
At home, Charleston took second in the Bob Bavier Open Team Race and third in the Phebe Corckran King Women's Team Race. CofC also claimed fifth place at the St. Mary's Open Team Race in Maryland.
Charleston is set to race in four regattas March 14-15, including two at home. The Cougars host the CofC Women's Team Race and J105 Midwinters while traveling to Florida to race in the Bud Morrow Women's Team Race. Charleston also heads back to Maryland to compete in the Graham Hall Open Team Race in Annapolis.
