
Charleston Advances to NCEA National Championship Finals

OCALA, Fla. – Three-seeded College of Charleston equestrian defeated No. 2 seed Dartmouth, 7-3, Friday afternoon in the NCEA National Championship semifinals at the World Equestrian Center.
With the win, the Cougars advance to the National Championship meet versus No. 1 seed Lynchburg.
Friday marks the second straight seasons that CofC, as the three seed, defeated the No. 2 seed 7-3 in the semifinals. In 2025, the Cougars defeated Sweet Briar.
Charleston began the meet with all four points in fences; one of the match ups tied. Olivia Welsh had a meet-best 85.7 in the fences while Samantha Aisenberg (84.0), Camilla Murray (79.0) and Maddi Cardelli (73.7) each collected points in the first half of the meet.
CofC continued its strong day with three points in the flat. Aisenberg (83.0), Lainie Rubin (81.3) and Welsh (72.) helped seal the win.
In its second season competing in the NCEA, Charleston will once again look to be crowned a National Champion. The meet takes place at 9 a.m. on April 18.
