Men's Basketball Slated for Cancun Challenge

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's basketball team will travel to Cancun, Mexico November 24-25 for the Cancun Challenge hosted at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.
The Cougars will play in the Riviera Division of the tournament along with Kennesaw State, UTEP, and Eastern Michigan. Participation in the tournament also includes one cross-play game in the United States against a team from the Mayan Division which includes Detroit Mercy, North Dakota, Northern Colorado, and Southeastern Louisiana.
Powered by Triple Crown Sports, the 2026 event marks the 19th edition of the men's tournament. Players and fans will be just steps from their rooms to the converted ballroom that hosts the competition at the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.
