Registration Open for 9th Annual Charleston Men's Basketball Tip-Off Dinner

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Tables and tickets are now available for the 9th Annual Charleston Men's Basketball Tip-Off Dinner, presented by Pinnacle Financial Partners and hosted by the Charleston Athletic Fund.
The event will take place on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, at TD Arena and will bring together supporters, alumni, and fans to celebrate the beginning of a new season while providing support for the Charleston Men's Basketball program.
"We are excited to welcome Cougar fans back to TD Arena for the 9th Annual Men's Basketball Tip-Off Dinner," said Dex Blank, Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Development. "The Tip-Off Dinner is a great way for supporters and fans to meet our new players and coaching staff, while supporting the men's basketball program's greatest needs. In this ever-changing landscape of college athletics, events like this one where we highlight our student-athletes and raise necessary funds for their program have never been so critical. We hope to see you in TD Arena in September!"

The evening will feature a cocktail hour, dinner, live auction and the program's annual Fund-a-Need initiative. Attendees will also enjoy an exclusive fireside chat featuring Head Coach John Groce and nationally recognized college basketball insider Jeff Goodman.

New this year, guests can enhance their evening by purchasing VIP Reception access in the McAlister Suite prior to the dinner program.

For those unable to attend, the Charleston Athletic Fund encourages supporters to participate through the annual Fund-a-Need campaign. Contributions directly support Charleston Men's Basketball and help provide student-athletes with the resources necessary to compete at the highest level.
