Competed in the Men's Laser class for El Salvador at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janiero, Brazil (24th).
Qualified for the Rio Games with an 11th-place finish at the 2015 Pan American Games.
Finished a career-best eighth in the Laser class at the 2016 Sailing World Cup and fifth at the Laser North American Championship.
