Earned three letters as a member of the varsity sailing team at Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego, Calif.
Attended the Fleet Racing Championships as a junior.
Placed 2nd in the Sears Cup Area J Qualifier Junior Championship in 2013.
Active member of FCA (2012-14) and Interact Club (2010-11).

Personal

Daughter of Doug Matheson and Gretchen Busch.
Undecided major at College of Charleston.
Chose CofC because of the sailing program, the beautiful campus and good academics.
Her athletic goals are to become an All-American, improve on her crewing skills and to become one of the top crews on the team.
Her career ambition is to manage an advertising agency someday.
Volunteered at her local church and its daycare center in high school.
Her biggest influences are her grandpa and uncles, who pushed her to excel in sailing just as they have in the sport.
