Willard A. Silcox, Sr., Class of '33 (Tennis)
Perhaps the most influential and iconic figure in the College of Charleston's athletic history, Willard Silcox stands alone for his lifetime dedication to improving and enriching CofC Athletics. His numerous positions, beginning from his unmatched play in tennis as a student, to his many years of service in both the athletic and alumni departments, are a testament to Mr. Silcox's successful tenure. However, the long list of titles cannot alone reflect the true impact Mr. Silcox had on those who had the honor and pleasure of his service.
