Tom Gamble, affectionately known as "Stick", played three seasons at the College of Charleston from 1964-66. He owns the top two single-game rebounding performances in school history. Gamble pulled down 31 rebounds against North Carolina Wesleyan on Dec. 16, 1965, and added 28 rebounds in a 66-63 win against Emory and Henry in the King College Invitational on Nov. 27, 1965. His 24-rebound effort against King College on Nov. 26, 1965, ranks sixth on the school's all-time list. Gamble was named All-Dixie Conference in 1964 and 1965 after leading the league in rebounding. He helped CofC to the 1964 Dixie Conference Tournament title, earning tournament MVP honors.
