A three-time All-American (1993, 1994 and 1995) and honorable mention All-American in 1991, Moore led the College of Charleston to a second-place finish in the Leonard M. Fowle Trophy competition for three-straight years from 1993-95, which is awarded annually to the best overall collegiate team in the nation. In 1994, he was the third-ever recipient of the Everett B. Morris Trophy given to the College Sailor of the Year in program history – placing first or second in all major intersectional races. Moore began sailing at the age of 6 and was a member of the High School Team Racing National and World Champion Teams at Tabor Academy (Mass.). Since his time at The College, he has won the 505 East Coast Championships six times and the 505 North American Championships four times. Moore graduated in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in history and was featured on the cover of Sailing World magazine in 2012.
