As a member of our Operations & Event Management crew, you will receive a fascinating behind-the-scenes perspective at how the College of Charleston executes game day elements across several sports in the fast-moving world of college athletics. Operations & Event Management staff members pave the way for the College of Charleston's soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball teams to be successful and strive to help provide a first-class game day experience for everyone involved with each sport. Additionally, staff members work closely with administration, Senior Staff members and the entire Athletics Department to ensure a smooth, efficient and exciting day-to-day operation and game day experience.
Typical game day duties include setting up and breaking down elements on the field or court, working closely with teams and student-athletes as well as communicating efficiently with coaches, working staff, officials and fans that enter our facilities. The Operations & Event Management team also works closely with the College of Charleston's Department Public Safety, our third-party security team and other campus partners to ensure a fun experience and safe environment for all. Other game day duties include overseeing a myriad of other game day positions, ensuring the facility maintains the highest level of cleanliness and in-game management of each sport.
