Hope King enters the 2026-27 campaign in her fifth year as an assistant coach of the College of Charleston equestrian program.
King has played a key role in CofC's NCEA program where the team advanced to the Single Discipline National Championship in both years since joining the conference prior to the 2025-26 season.
King returned to her native Charleston, S.C., after graduating from Oklahoma State where she was a standout student-athlete on the NCEA equestrian team for four years. She contributed to three Big XII Championship titles as well as a history-making NCEA National Championship title in 2020. Other accolades during her time on the team include NCEA First Team All American, Big XII Flat Rider of the Year, numerous All-Academic Awards, Big XII First Team All American, NCEA & Big XII All Championship teams and and much more.
King graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing and sport management.
