FORK UNION MILITARY ACADEMY
Attended prep school at Fork Union Military Academy (Va.) and played basketball under head coach Fletcher Arritt…Three former CofC standouts also attended Fork Union and scored at least 1,100 points in their Cougar careers including Pat Harrington (1,307 points from 1977-81), Jermel President (1,175 points from 1996-99) and Thomas Mobley (1,218 points from 2000-04)…Monroe needs 177 points to join the former FUMA alumni in the 1,000-Point Club.

HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated in 2006 from Parkwood High School and played basketball for coach Bobby McGeen…Led the Rebels to a 25-6 record as a senior…Two-Time Player of the Year in Union County...Ended his prep career as Parkwood’s all-time leading scorer…Selected to the North Carolina East/West High School All-Star Game…Also played AAU Basketball for the Charlotte Royals.
