• Placed 1st as crew in the A-Division of the Hobart & William Smith Fall Intersectional.
• Came in fourth as crew in A-Division at the SAISA Open.
High School
• Captain of Antilles High School sailing team 2009-10.
• Her team qualified for nationals every year while she was in school, and was always able to place in the top ten.
• Member of her school's swim team and participated in drama.
• Volunteered with her synagogue.
Personal
• Daughter of Samuel and Alexandra Laing.
• Majoring in communication at College of Charleston.
• Her athletic goal at CofC is to sail in as many regattas as possible and maintain a good GPA.
• Her career ambition is to work in television reporting or law.
• Spends her summers working on charter boats in the British Virgin Islands.
• Her father, Samuel, is her biggest influence in life because “he’s an amazing sailor and a versatile person.”
