2013: Finished 11th at the Southern Conference Outdoor Championship in the pole vault with a jump of 3.30 meters.

2012: Indoor: Finished 10^th in the pole vault at the Tiger Paw Invitational with a clearance of 3.31-meters. Outdoor: tied career best in the pole vault with a jump of 3.51-meters at the Palmetto Classic.

2009-10: Indoor-Set school record in the pole vault...Named to All-Freshman Team...Outdoor-Fourth-place in pole vault at SoCon Championships with 10th best mark in school history.

2010-11: Indoor: Cleared 10 feet, six inches in the pole vault at the Southern Conference Indoor Championships. Outdoor: Set a season best with a mark of 10-6 at the Shamrock Invitational...was also a regular participant on the cougars 4X100-meter relay team.

Seneca: Competed in the pole vault throughout high school with much success...Set school record of 11'9"...State Champion in 2007 and 2008...All-State, All-Region and Most Valuable Field Athlete as well...In addition to athletics was a member of student government in high school.

Personal: Chelsea is the daughter of Gary and Susan Taylor...She enjoys wakeboarding, fishing and being outdoors...Chelsea would eventually like to become an elementary teacher.
