Samantha (Pairet) Keohane enters her eighth season as the cheerleading coach at the College of Charleston, her alma mater, in 2025-26. Originally from Farmville, Virginia, Samantha leads with 15 years of cheerleading experience - both as an athlete and a coach.
Since her start, her career was highlighted with a trip to NCA College Nationals in the spring of 2021, an already difficult season due to COVID, and returning to Charleston with the first ever College of Charleston Cheerleading program national title.
Samantha graduated from the College in 2018, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health. While attending CofC, Samantha was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, the Student Alumni Association and the cheerleading team, serving as team captain her senior year.
After graduation, Samantha began working in the Admissions Department as an Admissions Representative and as the cheerleading team’s assistant coach. She then worked her way up to become the team’s head coach, taking the team to NCA College Nationals in the spring of 2019. It marked The College’s first time attending a national cheerleading competition in 10 years, and the team placed 4th in their division.
Samantha presently serves as the temporary staff representative on the Staff Advisory Committee and is USA Cheer certified in cheerleading safety and risk management.
