CofC Excels In Competition Hosted By Ga.Tech and GSU

The College of Charleston Equestrian Team won its second competition of the weekend on Sunday, Oct. 23rd leading only twice during the event hosted by Georgia Tech/Georgia State.
The team led by 3 points over SCAD with Junior Brittnany Kekelis' second place finish in Open Fences. This lead became a deficit after Intermediate Fences. After 4 classes the Cougars were trailing by 5. Kekelis kept it close by winning her Intermediate Flat class cutting SCAD's lead to 3.
With two classes remainig, SCAD had again gone 5 points up on the Equestrian Team. Freshman Emily Correale tied it up with SCAD by winning Beginner Walk Trot Canter. Freshman Jessica Lauren Wooten clinched the comeback by riding to first place in the last class of the day, Walk Trot.
