Cougars Close Out Season at SoCon Championships

The College of Charleston's Summer Chambless had a mark of 11-01 ? in the pole vault to finish third at the 2007 Southern Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Sunday in Boone, N.C. Her mark earned the Cougars six of their 19 points for ninth place overall.
The 4x100 relay team earned two points with a time of :49.54, and the 4x400 relay team finished with a time of 4:00.13 for four points.
Heather Collier garnered two points with a mark of 5-01 in the high jump. Katie Hedley tallied the remaining five points on Saturday with a time of 38:25.39, which was adjusted due to altitude, in the 10,000-meter race.
