Cougar Sailors Fourth at Hatch Brown Trophy Regatta

The College of Charleston sailing team finished in the top 10 in 36 races, including four wins, to place fourth at the Hatch Brown Trophy Regatta held Sept. 19-20 in Boston, Mass. Boston College won the regatta with 316 points. The Cougars finished with 425 points.
The Cougars finished 12th with 186 points in the A-Division behind the efforts of Steven Barbano and Katie Weaver. Allison Blecher and Alyssa Aitken sailed in the B-Division for CofC and totaled 138 points for fifth. Jackson Benvenutti and Christina Murray crewed the B-Division to fourth with 101 points.
The Cougars are next in action Sept. 26-27 at North Points #3 at Clemson S.C. and at the SAISA Women's Championship being held in Atlanta, Ga.
