Cougars Earn Runner-Up Finish

BOONE, N.C. - The College of Charleston volleyball team battled to the end, but couldn't overcome the Georgia Southern Eagles as they fell in three sets in the championship match of the Southern Conference Tournament (18-25, 29-31, 20-25).
Juniors Sarah Havel and Elyse Chubb combined for 22 kills for the match. Senior Cole Dawley registered her 17th double-double of the season for the Cougars (29-6).
Havel and Chubb were both honored by being named to the All-Tournament team.
