CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston Equestrian team will take their talents to South Beach as they look to build off of their success achieved last weekend in Georgia as they compete in Miami on Friday.
The Cougars are coming off of two horse shows in which they came away victorious in each. CofC had 14 class winners combined in both events and secured important points toward the Regional Championship. Currently the team is in first-place in the regional standings with 228 points. The Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) is second with 205 points.
CofC Head Coach Bob Story said he is very pleased with how his team is doing in practice and competition.
"Our team is working very hard and we are starting to see some of that work pay off," he said. We still have things we want to work on, but as a whole I think we are competing at a very high level right now."
