BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Freshman Dena O'Brien competed in the 2011 NCAA East Prelim on Saturday hosted by Indiana University.

O'Brien placed 10th in her heat with a time of 16:35.63 for her 5,000-meter race.

This season O'Brien set eight College of Charleston school records and won two Southern Conference Championship events.
