
Cougars Drop Two Matches in Fiesta at Siesta Key

SIESTA KEY, Fla. – The College of Charleston beach volleyball team suffered two losses in the opening day of the Fiesta at Siesta Key tournament on Friday. CofC fell to both Grand Canyon and North Florida by a 4-1 score.
In the opener, The College got a point from No. 3 flight of Krissy Mummey and McKayla Rhodes as the duo pulled out a 21-19, 27-25 victory. Against North Florida, Devon Rachel and Allison Beckman battled back from an early deficit to win 18-21, 21-10, 16-14.
The Cougars are now 8-8 on the season and resume play in the tournament on Saturday with matches against Florida Atlantic and Jacksonville.
