
Golden Fires Career-Low 69 at Trinity Forest Invitational

DALLAS, Texas – College of Charleston junior Patrick Golden (Murrells Inlet, S.C.) fired a career-low 69 during the second round of the Trinity Forest Invitational held at the Trinity Forest Golf Club.
In just his second career start for the Cougars, he made five birdies – two on the front nine and three on the back nine of the Ben Crenshaw track. He is currently tied for 44th (+2) on the individual leaderboard with senior teammate Hunter Dunagan (Augusta, Ga.), who shot another 72 on Monday.
Senior Logan Sowell (Kershaw, S.C.) also made five birdies and carded an under-par 70 on Day Two.
For the second-straight day, Alex del Rey of Arizona State led the tournament field firing a second-round 64 and is 11-under par after 36 holes. Host SMU and ASU tied at the top of the team leaderboard at 21-under.
The Cougars will close out tournament play tomorrow and tee-off the No. 10 beginning at 9:35 a.m. (CT) / 10:35 a.m. (ET). They will be paired with Virginia and North Texas during the final round. Live tournament scoring will be available at: www.Golfstat.com
