
Cougars Set to Open Busy Spring Slate With Three Regattas

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston sailing team will open the spring season with three regattas on the schedule this weekend including the Southern Collegiate Offshore Regatta on Saturday and Sunday at the J. Stewart Walker Sailing Complex. Charleston's dinghy team will travel to pair of regattas including the Nelson Roltsch Team Race on Saturday and Sunday in New Orleans, La. and the SAISA Open on Saturday and Sunday in St. Petersburg, Fla.
The Cougars will put a talented crew on the gunwale at SCOR as the offshore team looks to continue its stellar season. Junior Stuart Henry will lead the Cougars alongside senior Michael Brandon, senior Key Becker, junior Harrison Koller, sophomore Maggie Wilcox, junior Garrett McKinnon, sophomore Cade Morris and freshman Marina Cirillo.
Junior Jack Brown, and seniors Alie Toppa and Steven Leuck will skipper the Cougars at the Nelson Roltsch Team Race on Saturday and Sunday alongside crews Hunter Skinner, Jack Sutton and Noelle Owen. Junior Patrick Eaton will skipper A-Division at the SAISA Open with sophomore crew Adrianna Lee. Freshman Brandon Geller will skipper B-Division with fellow freshman Lily DiPietro at crew.
