MT. PLEASANT, S.C. --- The College of Charleston beach volleyball team swept Saint Leo and Mercer to highlight a 2-1 final day for the Cougars at the CofC Creekside Beach Classic on Sunday afternoon at the Creekside Tennis & Swim Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cougars kicked off the day with a 5-0 win over Saint Leo highlighted by sweeps at one's, two's, four's and five's. No. 18 Georgia State emerged victorious with a 5-0 decision to begin the afternoon session before the Cougars bounced back with a sweep of Mercer to finish the weekend 3-2.

PAIR OF THE DAY
Napierala and Freed delivered a pair of victories at one's including a dominating 21-10, 21-9 win against Saint Leo. The pair pushed Georgia State's top duo to their limits in a 15-21, 20-22 setback before securing the Cougars' sweep of Mercer with a gritty 18-21, 21-13, 17-15 win.
