RICHMOND, Va. – For the third time of her career, College of Charleston senior Jodee Tindal (Rock Hill, S.C.) was honored as Colonial Athletic Association Women's Golf Player of the Week by the conference office on Wednesday.
Tindal tied for 20th at the Palmetto Intercollegiate against a strong national field with three Top 25-ranked teams. She carded rounds of 76 and 82 to open the tournament, but fired a 2-under 70 in the final round at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort's Turtle Point course on Kiawah Island, S.C.
The 70 was the lowest single round by any Cougar over the course of the 54-hole tournament. Tindal, the Cougars' low finisher in both tournaments this season, made four birdies during the final round in the 62-player field comprised of 12 Top 100-ranked college golfers.
